Nash Wayfarer Guitar, Olympic White
Ā The Wayfarer from Nash Guitars is a semi-hollow Alder body guitar with a unique three humbucker configuration.Ā Most semi-hollow guitars are constructed with a laminated top that pulls energy away from the center mass of the instrument. Nash uses a unique pickguard treatment so you get the advantages of the semi-hollow body while maintaining the tone and sustain of a solid body.Ā The Wayfarer is extremely versatile with DiMarzio Bluesbuckers in the neck and middle positions, and an Air Norton in the bridge.Ā In single coil mode this guitar has the sound you would expect from the Nash S-Models, including the 2 and 4 position "quack". In humbucking mode you get everything you'd want from a real humbucker guitar.

Neck:
And now for something completely different: the BluesbuckerĀ® looks like a standard humbucker, but sounds like a P90 and cancels 60-cycle hum as effectively as the average humbucker. This means any guitar with standard size humbuckers can now have the sound of P90s without altering the guitar in any way and without noise. Patented Virtual VintageĀ® and Airbuckerā¢ technology let the BluesbuckerĀ® āseeā a narrow string window like a true single-coil, making it extremely sensitive to playing dynamics. When a pair of these pickups are on together, they achieve the open, slightly hollow sound that two single-coils produce. Splitting the pickup produces a sound similar to that of a StratĀ® pickup, with very little drop in output.
Bridge:
The Air Nortonā¢ started out simply to be the Airbuckerā¢ version of the NortonĀ®. We thought it would make a distinctive-sounding bridge pickup with high-gain amps, but we soon discovered that itās a radically neat neck pickup, too. The tone is deep and warm, but not muddy.
